FUNDRAISING
Dale Yacht Club is actively fundraising to raise funds to help us continue to be a vibrant club and an important part of the Dale community.
DYC Committee have set a target of £40,000 which we aim to raise over the next 2 years. These funds will help the Club fulfil its purpose:
-
To foster and encourage the sport of yachting and sailing for all, including youth participation
-
To generally facilitate “messing about in boats in a seaman like manner”
-
To cultivate a diverse membership by providing social and other facilities for Members as may, from time to time, be determined.

We have made significant investments over the last year to improve our Clubhouse - with a new efficient boiler and heating system, new men's showers, new flooring and a new stair carpet. We still have lots to do including replacing the internal and external doors, replacing the bar carpet and we are looking at how we can further improve our energy efficiency.

We hope to replace our rather old safety boats and invest in our Club dinghies, continuing to offer our members new opportunities to get on the water like our regular dinghy racing and summer junior sailing.

We need your help!

We are asking as many members as possible to support our fundraising efforts in as many ways as you can.
